A random conversation between friends several years ago introduced Mr. Radogna to the practice of representing Veterans. After running his own successful legal consulting business in the auto industry, Jim began to redirect his passion for helping people to assisting Veterans obtain their previously denied claims for service-connected benefits and compensation. In April 2015, Jim attended his first National Organization of Veterans' Advocates conference and realized he wanted to devote all of his time to helping Veterans and their families. It is also a way to continue to honor his late father, a Korean War Veteran who served in the U.S. Army in the 1950s.
Since then, Jim has tackled thousands of Veterans' appeals and studied the legal landscape in this ever-changing area of law while working with his wife, Veterans Law Attorney Katrina Eagle. In addition to representing Veterans before all 58 VA Regional Offices and the Board of Veterans' Appeals, Jim develops the curriculum and training materials that he and Ms. Eagle present at various state and national Veterans Service Officer conferences. He currently serves as co-coordinator of the National Association of County Veteran Service Officers’ Certified Veterans Advocate program and as Education Consultant for the California Association of County Veterans Service Officers. He also manages the law office's social media presence and content.
Mr. Radogna received his B.S. in Marketing from the University of Miami in 1981. When not representing Veterans or training fellow advocates, you can find Jim working out and enjoying the outdoors, often hiking 8-10 miles daily and walking Bailey & Cali, their Golden Retrievers.
